Robert Half Project Coordinator in Suffolk, Virginia

Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in project planning, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate project activities and ensure that all parties involved are working together efficiently.

  • Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and management.

  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays that may arise.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.

  • Assist in the procurement of materials and services required for the project.

  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Conduct site visits to inspect work progress and resolve any on-site issues.

  • Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in construction project coordination or management.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
