The position oversees staff support for all aspects of both academic services and the student experience for the School of Information Studies (iSchool). This includes supervision of the following offices: Student Services, Career Services, Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs, and Faculty Affairs.

The Assistant Dean for Academic and Student Experience will be a key member of the Dean's Leadership Team, working with senior faculty and staff leadership to ensure the iSchool operations are efficient and effective. Responsible for ensuring effective communication with all relevant constituents, a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration within and between units, and cross training and professional development of staff.

The Assistant Dean will serve as a key advocate for both staff and students in the iSchool as well as a key liaison with other offices across the university. This is a senior level position reporting to the Dean of the School.
