• Provides HVAC support to the Housing Services Department by installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential buildings to ensure compliance with all Agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing, or accrediting bodies

• Diagnoses, repairs, and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical components of heating, ventilation and cooling systems

• Obtains any replacement parts and calibrates systems to the manufacturer's recommendations

• Coordinates with outside consultants, contractors, and vendors, as needed

• Assists Physical Plant Operations Engineer with the implementation and management of a preventative maintenance plan

• Assists in maintaining physical plant of building including, but not limited to; plumbing, electrical, back flow testing, fire suppression systems, and booster pumps

• Maintains good working order of company tools and reports any mechanical issues to supervisory chain

• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in Agency vehicle

• Handles work orders in a prompt, efficient, and safe manner

• Responsible for handling and/or coordinating services to resolve any HVAC related emergencies, as needed
