Location: 90% Remote / 10% Travel

Job Description
This role will be focused on developing, evolving, and supporting the cloud infrastructure and security needs of our organization. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated strong skills and experience in managing cloud infrastructure as well as the ability to be a trusted partner to technical and non-technical audiences, both inside the organization and with our external partners. In this role, you will be responsible for being the technical lead for our cloud infrastructure team as well as building and maintaining new patterns as our infrastructure needs evolve. The ideal candidate must have experience in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems as well as experience leading DevOps engineers. This person will report to the VP of Engineering and will not have direct reports.
Responsibilities
Manage AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure operations
Lead a small team of DevOps Engineers to ensure coverage for project work and ongoing support and maintenance needs
Be the technical lead for new infrastructure patterns and modifications to existing project work
Maintain and ensure adaptation of InfoSec policies and monitoring within our cloud hosted environments
Drive increased observability, dashboarding, and supporting metrics
Expand and standardize CI/CD patterns across internal Engineering Teams
Maintain access controls to our cloud hosted environments and tools
Help manage overall spend of infrastructure and third party technology tools
Manage team coverage for on-call and emergency infrastructure needs
Qualifications and Skills
5+ of years of experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable industry experience
Experience in AWS Infrastructure products such as IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, RDS
Strong networking and cloud security understanding and experience
Experience functioning as a Team or Project Lead in DevOps ( official HR leadership experience not required )
IOT / SCADA experience a plus
AWS and Cloud Infrastructure certifications are a plus
Travel
90% Remote
10% Approximate quarterly travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota or Washington, DC for workshops, off-sites, etc.
