PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for Licensed Pipefitters for our client in Stafford Springs. We would love to hire you for this full-time position TODAY!

Please note the pay rate for this role is $43 p/hr

Responsibilities:

• Cutting, threading, or hammering pipes using various power and hand tools
• Measuring and marking pipes for cutting or threading
• Cutting or boring holes in structures
• Drawing layouts to scale while studying blueprints and following relevant codes
• Troubleshooting problems Inspecting, examining, or testing installed systems or pipelines

Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age and able to provide work authorization documents
• Must be local to Stafford Springs area
• Maintain Current/Active Valid Connecticut S1 Licensed or S2 Licensed
• OSHA certification issued in the last 5 years
• Certification or a willingness to obtain it
• Minimum 2 years experience in commercial construction industry preferred
• References to verify your professional skills and experience
• A deep understanding of state and local building codes
• Troubleshooting problems Inspecting, examining, or testing installed systems or pipelines
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prior experience in the Commercial and Residential field preferred Prior experience using Basic Pipefitter's Toolbox
