Our Opportunity:

The HRIPO Team is primarily responsible for all operational activities and project management support for the various HR Functions. The HRIPO Project Coordinator will manage small projects and/or coordinate programs across multiple geographies or partner with a Sr. Project Manager on larger more complex programs or projects. This role will report to the HRIPO Sr. Team Manager.

In this role, the Project Coordinator will deliver value to the HR organization through accountability and direct management of small-scale projects and/or administrative and logistical tasks associated with various HR projects and/or programs.

What you’ll do:

Project Management:

  • Lead and/or support small-scale projects or programs in maintenance mode, sometimes involving multiple internal and external constituents and partners

  • Utilizing project management industry best practices, deliver value to the HR organization through accountability and direct management of administrative aspects of the project or program life cycle for HR initiatives

  • Leverage organization defined standardized tools and resources to support project/program delivery, will organize and track all activity on assigned projects

  • Ensure delivery of HR initiatives while keeping optimal pace of the project/program, providing transparency and communication with project stakeholders by delivering updates to the project plan, including action items, issue tracking, expenses tracking and any associated reporting

  • Ensure expected results are met and commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters

  • Track project/program milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan. Ability to effectively communicate with clarity, both written and verbally with project managers, project stakeholders and business partners

Logistics Management:

  • Schedule meetings, manage program calendar or an event, manage and schedule trainings, organize conference calls, update project files, and ensure all communication and notifications are distributed and received

  • Ensures all administrative aspects of a program or event including vendor negotiations, room blocks, catering, coordination of agenda is initiated and completed, etc.

What you'll have:

  • 1-2 years project, training or events coordination/logistical experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

  • Basic knowledge in the use of project management tools.

  • Basic project management experience, managing small-scale projects, with emphasis on program delivery, business process implementation, product and program development.

  • May require some support with executing and navigating in an ambiguous and matrixed environment.

  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to proactively identify scheduling and logistical challenges, improvise, and adapt. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, Strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Possesses HR and business acumen.

  • Requires a basic understanding of how to manage projects or programs. Work is more administrative or maintenance in nature, but can recognize opportunities to make recommendations and contribute accordingly.

  • Requires experience partnering with key stakeholders to deliver against initiatives, programs and events. The coordinator is embraced as someone with the talent to effectively coordinate administrative and logistical tasks, but continues to develop skills and experiences in the project management discipline via the support of the broader team and Sr. Team Manager.
