Our Opportunity:

Schwab Corporate Real Estate (CRE) provides safe, reliable and effective facilities that support the Company’s business needs. We oversee a portfolio of over 5 million square feet consisting of over 330 offices. Our services include facility management, property management, project management, design, construction, transaction management and lease administration.

What you’ll do:

The Senior Manager develops plans, with business partners, which link business and real estate strategy to forecast supply and demand for space; Serves as principal contact with business leaders and internal clients regarding workspace; Leads and participates in gathering, analysis and dissemination of business requirements and forecasts for the development of strategic portfolio plans; Examines opportunities to optimize occupancy via analysis of growth, allocation and utilization of space; Develops long and short-term strategic building occupancy plans based on business unit requirements; Establishes workplace strategies, including space allocation guidelines; Develops and manages alternative officing strategies; Manages space databases

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 5+ years of business experience in space portfolio management (strategy, project management, transactional, financial analysis, and corporate occupancy experience)

  • Excellent project management skills including experience with architectural planning and programming

  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to analyze and present strategic recommendations for effective space planning and workplace concepts

  • Proven ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively

  • Demonstrated success achieving challenging business goals, assuming leadership role and delivering effective solutions to business problems in a corporate setting

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines

  • Ablility to navigate in a constantly changing environment

  • Comfortable with ambiguity

  • Possess strong computer software application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Databases, AutoCad)
