Mercury Systems Associate Assembly Technician in Alpharetta, Georgia

Job Summary: In this role you will be involved with the start to finish build of the product. As you learn the processes, you will be able to move from one product to the next with minimal difficulty giving you an opportunity to learn new and different tasks. Job Responsibility: * Performing a wide variety of electrical / mechanical operations on components, sub-assemblies and assemblies. * Building assemblies using work instructions, engineer drawings and the Bill of Material. * Performing a number of repetitive electro/mechanical assembly operations utilizing microscopes, soldering irons, screwdrivers and an assortment of small hand tools. * While meeting schedule requirements, must be able to maintain paperwork, logs and moderate maintenance in the area to accurately meet company policies. * Working to build product while meeting or exceeding current time standards. * Maintaining a clean work area. Required Qualification: * High school diploma or equivalent * Basic reading and writing ( in English ) and basic arithmetic skills * Soldering / basic mechanical assembly experience * Basic computer skills * Knowledge of ESD ( Electrostatic discharge ) procedures * Ability to work with general instruction on daily activities * The ability to multi-task while adhering to schedules Why should you join Mercury Systems?
