Kelly Services Production Supervisor in Arden, North Carolina

Salary: $65,000 to $75,000/annually

Shifts available:

  • 1 st shift: 6:00am to 3:30pm

  • 2 nd shift: 2:00pm to 11:30pm

What’s a typical day as a Production Supervisor? You’ll be:

• Leading the production team to ensure daily production goals are met within quality and safety standards.

• Assisting Production Team Leaders to ensure efficiency in all areas of production.

• Planning and building the daily production work schedule to meet production goals.

• Training production teammates on procedures and ensuring understanding.

• Troubleshooting daily problems and communicating non-conforming situations to management.

• Enforcing safety standards and seeking to improve safety processes.

• Recommending and implementing more efficient processes to increase productivity while maintaining quality standards.

• Coaching and counseling employees to improve job performance.

• Promoting a positive work environment.

• Supporting the Distribution Center Manager or Production Manager role.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have an Associate's Degree in a technical field or three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably one dealing with custom procedure trays, with at least two years in a lead or supervisory capacity.

• Have good verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Are self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team environment.

• Possess strong problem-solving skills.

• Have strong organization and time management skills.

• Are computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

• Have the ability to learn various company software programs including SAP.

• Have knowledge about manufacturing methods, techniques, and equipment.

• Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.

• Have the ability to lead and motivate others.
