Cyber Intelligence Planner

Job Description:

The Cyber Intelligence Planner plays a critical role in developing detailed intelligence plans to meet the requirements of cyber operations within the JCDC Planning Office. This position involves close collaboration with other cyber operations planners to identify, validate, and establish requirements for the collection and analysis of intelligence. Additionally, the Cyber Intelligence Planner actively participates in the selection, validation, synchronization, and execution of cyber actions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives in cyberspace.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop comprehensive intelligence plans to fulfill the needs of cyber operations.

· Collaborate closely with cyber operations planners to assess, validate, and define requirements for intelligence collection and analysis.

· Engage in the selection, validation, synchronization, and implementation of cyber actions.

· Ensure the synchronization of intelligence activities to support organizational objectives in cyberspace

· Monitor and analyze emerging cyber threats to inform planning efforts.

· Contribute to the development of intelligence annexes and appendices for specific plans.

· Prepare and deliver intelligence briefings to JCDC leadership and stakeholders.

· Coordinate effectively with internal and external partners to enhance intelligence support capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.

· Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),

· Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

· Extensive experience in cyber threat intelligence analysis or planning roles.

· Proficiency in intelligence planning methodologies and processes.

· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

· Must have a Top Secret clearance and SCI eligible.

Experience:

· Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity or intelligence analysis.

· Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders

· Prior involvement in developing intelligence plans or supporting cyber operations planning efforts is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with various government and industry cyber threat intelligence sources and tools is advantageous.

    The Cyber Intelligence Planner must be proactive, adaptable, and capable of contributing effectively to intelligence-driven cyber defense plans within the JCDC Planning Office.

Clearance Requirement

· Must have an active TS/SCI eligible
