Business Process Automation (BPA) Domain Architect The BPA Domain Architect will participate in the creation and evolution of the technology road map that defines current technical architectures and future architectures for the Domain. The Domain Architect is the end-to-end subject matter expert for architectural frameworks, methods, design patterns and tools within the Domain. The person in this position will lead strategic technological planning for the assigned Domain and provide architecture solutions that meet the needs of the business.  It will be critical to analyze industry trends and maintain awareness of industry developments, regulations, and standards to proactively identify impacts to the Domain. The ideal candidate will have experience with business process transformation and optimization methodologies that include managing business processes as assets with their associated lifecycles.  They will be expected to support the full business process lifecycles through discovery, analysis, design, implementation, execution, monitoring, and optimization. Daily activities you can expect to complete: * Enabling intelligent processes through real-time human collaboration, advanced analytics, real-time activity monitoring, and decision management * Partnering with the Business Domain Lead, Portfolio lead, and key vendor partners regarding strategy, priorities, program risks and issue mitigation plans * Providing technical recommendation and solution to achieve business objectives * Establishing reusable building blocks and guardrails for project teams * Collaborating with solution, platform, and enterprise architects on domain needs * Leading feasibility studies and POC for new business solutions * Identifying redundant solution or manual processes that can be optimized * Designing and oversee efforts in building effective bank specific Proof-of-Concept demonstrations and socialize the results throughout the Domain and all levels of management * Participate in vendor/product selection activities including the development of vendor/product evaluation models used in Requests for Proposal (RFP's) * Continuously reviewing and recommending improvements for resiliency, security and Technology Lifecycle Management currency for domain capabilities Deliverables you will be accountable for include: * Owning domain technology roadmap, including new technology introduction and product selection * Creating conceptual designs and estimates for solutions * Creating reusable patterns from domain * Making technical decisions at a program level * Remediating program technical risks * Completing required process for portfolio investment charters, architecture review boards, and architecture governance on detail technical designs Position Responsibilities: Strategy * Facilitate development of a technical strategy that supports both the Domain strategy and the Enterprise Architecture strategy. * Provide direction and oversight for design/development activities within the specified Domain. * Lead the identification and analysis of Domain business drivers that determine key architecture requirements. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with business domain leadership to ensure a deep understanding of changing business needs and priorities. * Provide technical/business consulting to internal Technology organizations and client-sponsored activities outside of Technology.
