What you’ll do:

The position is responsible for managing advisor transitions to Schwab Bank, their data feed, and review documents for acceptance. The candidate will assist with coordinating new client conversions, reviewing and maintaining accurate records of Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) on retirement plans. He/she will work closely with Advisor Sales team, and Operational teams to successfully transition new business and support existing clients. Qualified applicant will have exceptional communication skills enabling them to interact with various clients and management levels within and outside our firm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Primary contact for implementation activity relating to technical onboarding of Advisors, Independent Recordkeepers, and other Clients

  • Maintaining Registered Investment Advisors records using our trust reporting system and Saleforce

  • Review of system set ups and databases prior to advisor conversion completion

  • Work with advisor vendors such as Schwab Performance Technologies, Advent, Envestnet, Tamarac, Orion, and others to implement new file types or technology

  • Daily correspondence with advisors relating to new business and changes to existing business

  • Review of plan types and specifications to support business exception requestsDevelop productive relationships with various operation teams, legal, sales and relationship managers

  • Work with Clients and Charles Schwab & Co. Dealer Advisor Support Team to ensure seamless

  • Cultivate positive relationships and experiences with independent record keeper and advisor clients

What you have:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent

  • One to three years financial services experience ideally with employee benefit plans providing trust/custody or recordkeeping services

  • Previous experience with Recordkeeping, Advisor Portfolio Management, or other software systems related to exchange of data

  • Strong understanding of rules governing qualified retirement plans

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Intermediate/Proficient working knowledge of software applications including Word, Excel, and trust accounting systems, such as SEI

  • Detail oriented with strong analytic and research skills

  • Strong customer focus, including ability to think in terms of customer experience

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines within a dynamic environment
