Our Opportunity:

Schwab is looking for an Associate Cloud Engineer who will join our CloudOps Platform Engineering team. This experienced developer will be responsible for helping to design and implement Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) private cloud engineering solutions for maintaining, upgrading and onboarding applications to the platform. Our ideal candidate is a confident self-starter who's not afraid to get his hands dirty, communicates well, and is passionate about DevOps, cloud services, technology and the web.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and build tools for platform management tasks associated with onboarding applications to PCF platform

  • Design and build web services, tool plugins, utility scripts, automation jobs, etc. as

  • Continually strive for improvements in process, application time-to-market and quality

What you have:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related fields or commensurate experience

  • Passion for software development, cloud technologies, and DevOps

  • Proficiency in either Java or .NET development

  • Familiarity with systems administration (Linux and/or Windows)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
