Our Opportunity:

The purpose of the Asset Operations department within Schwab Retirement Business Services (RBS) is to meet the needs of Plan Administrator Services and Retirement Plan Services channels for account and security maintenance, trading & transfer of assets, reporting, reconciliation and income processing for the various investment vehicles offered by RBS. What you’ll do:

The operations associate will utilize numerous applications for processing mutual fund-related activities and account opening/maintenance for various retirement plan products. Candidate will be responsible for effectively prioritizing multiple functions including reviewing assets for availability, analyzing plan documents, performing plan maintenance and setting up accounts in accordance with department procedures. Successful candidate will cross-train to back up co-workers and process requests with a primary emphasis on accuracy. Candidate will need to prioritize multiple tasks effectively while maintaining continuous communications with management and other support business partners.

  • Ability to work and adapt to a fast paced environment, attention-to-detail, willingness to learn new functions and outside-the-box thinking are a must.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
