What you’ll do:

  • Transition Schwab’s IT Data Management technology initiatives, both in-flight and planned, into a well-defined, carefully executed enterprise program.

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide change management, communication, and training plans for data management technology.

  • Grow a team of analysts to design and execute IT data management processes relating metadata, data quality, systems development lifecycle (SDLC) integration, and associated tool training and documentation.

  • Supplement project management as needed in the early stages of the program including agile project management activities within the scope of the program.

  • Build solid working relationships with key technology and business partners to ensure the program meets their needs.

Required Skills:

  • 12+ years of experience delivering technology projects

  • 3+ years of data management experience (including data governance, metadata management, data quality execution)

  • Proven track record of delivering large, cross-division or enterprise projects

  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Consistent attention to detail

  • Excellent customer facing, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Strong desire to work in a fast paced, exiting, growing, environment and make it a success

Preferred Skills:

  • B.S in Computer Science or other related area desired

  • Experience with data management tools such as Collibra Data Governance Center, IBM Information Governance Catalog, and Oracle Enterprise Data Quality a plus

  • Experience delivering projects via agile methodology preferred

  • Management experience preferred

  • Experience within the financial services industry preferred
