The CET Strategic Initiatives team at Charles Schwab is a leading edge organization using modern approaches for developing and delivering web applications. We are looking for a talented full-stack web developer to join the front-end Move Money team. This individual should be a technical leader and have a passion for keeping up-to-date and using cutting-edge web technologies to build interactive web applications.
What you’ll do:
You will work in a fast-paced, customer focused environment that continually embraces the latest technologies and techniques. You will interact with technology and business partners to develop responsive, scalable, single page applications (SPA) using Angular. You will be responsible for providing vision, design, and leadership to the technology teams. You will provide documentation, promote best practices, perform code reviews, provide performance and security analysis, provide guidance to team members, and contribute to coding/testing.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
A minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience
Experience as a technical lead and a desire to mentor peers and junior staff
Significant experience with Angular v2.0 or above
Experience with the following:
Web API and RESTful services
Responsive Design and Single Page Applications (SPA)
Application performance tuning and capacity planning
A passion for including automated unit tests in your development process
Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles
Understanding of Agile/Lean software development principles along with experience participating in agile projects
Experience with pairing, TDD & BDD
Knowledge of Web Content Management Systems
Experience in developing against NoSQL systems like MongoDB
Knowledge of financial services or banking
A passion for continuous improvement in both technology and process
Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills
Self-motivated, quick learner who can manage multiple projects with minimal direction
