Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Baltimore, Maryland. The primary role will be to manage and oversee all financial records, including credit applications and account reconciliations. This position is in the telecom industry and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Manage collections process and maintain a low level of delinquency. Requirements • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Demonstrated experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Good understanding of Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Collections

• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of bookkeeping

• Ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and bookkeeping software

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
