The primary role for the Head of Trust, Canada Pooled Funds and Cayman Vehicles is to provide the strategic direction of these vehicles (totalling $300+B in AUM) at T. Rowe Price inclusive of the Trust Company, and to manage various product-related business activities in support of these vehicles. Allocation of time to these vehicles is 70% to Trusts, 25% to Canada, and 5% to Cayman. Product-related business activities include a wide range of product strategy, product development, and product management activities.

• Product strategy includes working directly with distribution and investment leaders to identify market and channel demand drivers and trends, seeking competitive intelligence with competing asset managers, knowledge of industry trends (403b trust legislation, tax reclaims for trusts), understanding current and future client needs and developing the Vehicle product strategy roadmap for these vehicles, while collaborating directly with Global Product partners to align with the broader Global Product priorities.

• Product development involves research, development, and implementation of new strategies in these vehicles ensuring they are designed to meet clients’ needs including but not limited to investment design parameters, naming, pricing, and ensuring these are effectively implemented.

• Product management activities include ongoing research and review of the existing product suite to ensure it is “fit for purpose”, staying abreast of regulatory changes, overseeing the profitability of each product and cost to launch, and identifying potential product enhancements to existing Trusts, Canada Pooled Funds and Cayman products.

The Head of Trust, Canada Pooled Funds and Cayman Vehicles will be accountable for leading these products for T. Rowe Price and will need to be an advocate for these vehicles within Global Product and the firm. This role will have a strong partnership with Legal and Operations and will work in a strategic capacity with senior management in USI, RPS, Americas, Investments, and Global Product. This role will lead the internal Trust Governance Forum and be a critical partner for Board meetings (Trusts, Canada and Cayman). This role will also participate on external forums including ICI, PMAC, and the Trust Coalition. This role reports to the Head of North America Product.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

• 12+ years of total relevant work experience and 5+ years of management experience

• Strong knowledge of Trust (aka CITs), Canadian Pooled Funds, and Cayman Vehicles and what channels/segments use them, how they use them, how they are priced, and the competitive landscape

• Strong communication skills, demonstrating the ability to deal with people at all levels of the organization

• Ability to influence, have gravitas with senior leaders in distribution, investments, legal, operations and global product

• Deep understanding of product development and management processes and practices together with a sound knowledge of operational and regulatory frameworks and how they relate to “best practice” product governance

• Professional curiosity to identify and drive new ideas of opportunity and an ability to pursue problem resolutions

• Considerable leadership and change management abilities

Preferred:

• MBA or advanced degree

• Financial Services experience

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
