Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in threat exposure and vulnerability management

  • Drive improvements to operational processes and workflows to increase operational effectiveness and reduce overall risk lower

  • Support and maintain daily vulnerability management operations

  • Support and maintain vulnerability management tools

  • Maintain operational standards and documentation

  • Monitor and track remediation progress across all zones of the computing environment

  • Maintain acute awareness of cybersecurity threat through daily consumption of threat intelligence from trusted sources like government entities or cybersecurity partners and vendors

  • Analyze and interpret large threat and vulnerability data sets for all tools/solutions currently used to prioritize remediation efforts

  • Evaluate and assess impact of cybersecurity threats to the computing environment and provide guidance for remediation

  • Continuously improve operational effectiveness by enabling new capabilities, adapting to government regulatory requirements, or updating various process and procedure documentations

  • Frequent interaction with other Security Operations managers and relevant stakeholders to convey time-sensitive information such as current risk profile or critical issues that require immediate action

  • Advise on cybersecurity industry trends, products and solutions, or local/global compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Create and maintain monthly and quarterly metrics
