Hybrid role: Scrum Master/Project Manager for SAP implementation

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master with a strong Project Management background in leading SAP Distribution and Logistics projects, demonstrating a well-rounded expertise in end-to-end supply chain management (exposure to SAP SD, MM modules and MDG Master data management).

In this hybrid role you'll be dealing with more complex situations, and you’ll need to work across functional units, and other teams, and upper levels of management. You can expect to work on a wide variety of situations involving more complex scaling factors and variations.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the end-to-end deployment of SAP solutions within GXP and SOX compliant systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Leverage your extensive SAP delivery experience to guide and mentor teams throughout the project lifecycle, facilitating smooth execution and delivery of complex IT projects.

Employ your in-depth knowledge of software development models to assess project requirements and select the appropriate methodology, whether traditional or agile, to achieve optimal project outcomes.

Offer conceptual and innovative approaches to improve the organizational agility in SAP implementations.

Use expert agile knowledge to guide teams in agile deployment practices as detailed in SAP Activate guide.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving the refinement of processes, methodologies, and best practices based on evolving industry trends and lessons learned from past projects.

Manage project planning, budgeting, track expenses and report financial performance ensuring financial efficiency of the assigned project.

Collaborate seamlessly with multiple teams across our matrixed organization, acting as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders to deliver integrated and impactful solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

Required

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager for SAP implementation - ideally proficient in leading SAP Distribution and Logistics projects, demonstrating a well-rounded expertise in end-to-end supply chain management (exposure to SAP SD, MM modules and MDG Master data management).

  • Demonstrable experience to apply Scrum principles, practices, and theory of Scrum, Kanban, Agile Development and Integration, preferably also in a scaled setting.

  • Practical experience with SAP Activate methodology.

  • English language proficiency

Preferred

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA cGMP/GLP regulations.

  • Exposure to SAP Fiori, BW, GTS or complex integration landscapes with SAP

  • S4 HANA experience

  • Pharmaceutical Experience: Preferred for understanding industry nuances. Has identifiable impact on results of the team and program or product levels.

  • Industry-recognized Project Management, Agile and / or DevOps Qualifications

  • Preferred University Technical Degree (or equivalent experience)
