Translates the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Determines and develops approach to solutions.

Will work in our the Bentonville, AR office on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes requirements meetings and design programs for moderately complex systems, applications or process design projects. Completes all phases of moderately complex systems integration design projects

  • Analyzes best approach to solving systems, applications or process design problems (innovation vs. re-use) including best fit solution to customer requirements

  • Provides direction for design activities and presenting to clients

  • Leads presentation of solutions to customers and internal audiences. Takes part in presentations to influence customers and market in pre-tender phase

  • Assists in negotiations with customers in pre-sales phase. Leads negotiations with third party suppliers and in supplier selection process

  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments

  • May influence the activities of junior level personnel (exempt professional and non-exempt)

  • Networks with senior, internal and external, personnel in own area of expertise. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or in lieu of degree 8 years of experience

  • 5 + years of engineering experience

  • Experience with Unix and Linux

  • Wireless Networking experience

  • Experience in diagnostics and problem analysis

  • Work in our Bentonville, AR location on a hybrid basis

    Preferred Qualifications

  • General knowledge of Android

  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Organization skills including workload prioritization and ability to work to deadlines

  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis

  • Experience with enterprise-level software development and system integration

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and environments

  • Basing understanding of scripting development ex. Python, Perl, Javascript

  • Technical understanding of data analysis and the ability to effectively present findings to leadership

Salary: USD 73400.00 - USD 110200.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
