THE OPPORTUNITY:Diesel Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance, diagnostic and repairs
• Keep accurate notes on repair orders to ensure accuracy
• Occasional road service
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Interface easily with Idealease/dealer computer system
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to Idealease/dealership information
• Other duties, as assigned
• Knowledge of proper use of all tools, Inspection and lubrication, Cab, frame, front axle, steering gear and springs, Brake system, air and hydraulic Clutch, transmission and differential
• Engine tune-up, electrical/electronic testing
• Knowledgeable of medium and heavy-duty International truck product

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of Vocational or Trades School Preferred
• HVAC experience preferred (not required)
• Electrical experience preferred (not required)
• Diesel Engine experience preferred
