The successful candidate will serve as a vital member of the Client Services team, assisting the Client Portfolio Managers. Through experience, investment knowledge, and professional development, the entire team strives to provide our clients with a golden advisory relationship experience.
What you’ll do:
Specialist, Client Service Responsibilities:
Execute a wide variety of client service processes including account opening, funding, and maintenance, third party advisor support, etc.
Develop a strong working relationship with designated Investment Professional(s) and their clients.
Field client calls, handling client questions at the point of contact where applicable, and transferring incoming calls when needed.
Manage contact databases, creating and updating prospect/client information
Maintain account and security restrictions in key ThomasPartners databases
Assist in the preparation of marketing materials: mailing presentations / updating corresponding compliance spreadsheets and file notes with this information
Assist in the quarter-end reporting and billing process: preparation of materials and administrative tasks
Liaison with operations and trading to effectively disseminate information
Assist with Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents
What you have:
The candidate must have strong communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, a positive attitude, professionalism, incredible follow-through, a great work ethic and the ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize with ease.
Passion for service and finance with strong client-focus and the ability to provide a superior level of service
Good analytical skills with a superior level of attention to detail in order to adhere to policies, procedures and guidelines
Collaborative and relational work style with proven success in a team environment.
Desire for growth opportunities and ongoing training
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially the ability to listen to clients, understand their needs, and to explain complicated subjects
A savvy user of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook and SalesForce.
Portfolio accounting software (e.g., Portfolio Center) knowledge preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required
Preferrably experience in the financial services industry.
