Technical Product Owner

POSITION PROFILE

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Technical Product Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our Digital Front End capabilities and driving the deployment of a cloud-based application. This key position requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, a passion for innovation, and the ability to align technology solutions with business objectives.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business objectives and technical capabilities.

• Market Research : Conducting market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Gathering insights to inform product decisions.

• Requirements Gathering : Collaborating with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to gather and prioritize product requirements. Defining features, functionalities, and user stories.

• Technical Understanding: Possess a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the product, including architecture, infrastructure, and development methodologies.

• Roadmap Planning : Creating and maintaining a product roadmap that outlines the planned features and enhancements over time. Aligning the roadmap with business priorities.

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring that the product is built according to best practices and technical standards.

• User Experience (UX) : Collaborating with UX/UI designers to ensure that the product provides a positive and user-friendly experience

• Product Metrics and Analysis : Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyzing product metrics to measure the success of the product. Using data to inform decisions and iterate on the product.

• Customer Feedback : Collecting and analyzing customer feedback to understand user satisfaction and identify areas for improvement. Incorporating customer input into the product development process.

• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of technical requirements, architectural decisions, and any relevant guidelines for development teams.

Additional Pay Details

Compensation Range

$117,000 to $ 135,000

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a technology related field required

• 10+ years of relevant work experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• In-depth understanding of technology, software development processes, and system architecture.

• Familiarity with programming languages, development frameworks, and other technical tools relevant to the specific industry or domain.

• Strong grasp of product management principles, including market research, product strategy, requirements gathering, and roadmap planning.

• Experience with agile methodologies and an understanding of how they apply to product development.

• Ability to align technical decisions with overall business goals and strategy.

• Understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and the economic factors influencing the product.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to create clear and concise documentation, including user stories, product requirements, and technical documentation.

• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and executives.

• Leadership skills to provide direction, motivation, and guidance to development teams.

• Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data, analyze metrics, and make informed decisions.

• Problem-solving ability to address complex technical challenges and find innovative solutions.

• Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and the ability to advocate for a customer-centric approach to product development.

• Proven ability to gather and incorporate customer feedback into product decisions.

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies to plan, coordinate, and oversee product development cycles.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, market conditions, and technology trends.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Strong negotiation skills to manage competing priorities and influence decision-making.

• Ability to communicate the value of technical decisions to stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.

• Ability to think strategically, considering long-term goals and the broader impact of technical and product decisions on the organization.

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

• This job requires some domestic travel and international travel.
