Job Overview

The primary function of the Material Handler is keeping all warehouse materials staged for product, assisting with material moves and organization, completing assigned paperwork, following company and safety policies, procedures and practices at all times. The successful candidate is proactive, detail oriented, and dependable.

Full time – Hourly position.  Monday - Friday and occasional weekends.

Primary Duties

• Forklift operation and safety related practices.   

• Loading & unloading versus types of trucks and equipment.

• Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.

• Perform daily safety inspections to related equipment.

• Collaborate with internal departments for daily tasks.

• Fill orders and issue materials and supplies per requests; document transactions.

• Follow company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Able to handle high stress situations.

• Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work.

• Able to lift 60 pounds of necessary equipment; Able to push and pull 75 pounds.

• Able to handle exposure to dust, fumes and high noise levels.

• Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

• Any duties as may be assigned.
