About the role

As an Asset Management Analyst Intern you will participate in the growing Asset Management activities in Belgium in connection with our wider EMEA business. The position will primarily involve working alongside with, and providing analytical support to the Asset & Transaction Management Team on our Belgian portfolio with a primarily focus on logistics projects. The tight-knit Belgian team based in Brussels expects you to be an integral member of the crew, embracing the challenges of the role and the wider experience in Belgium.

Your key tasks and responsibilities

  • Assisting the Asset Management team in financial investment modelling including (re)development projects and lettings cases (cash flow modelling, IRR and NPV calculation).

  • Contributing to quarterly reporting as required by the program teams.

  • Contributing to annual budgeting and preparation of strategic business plans.

  • Preparing strategy papers to be presented to internal investment committees fund management teams.

  • Supporting the Asset Management team in leasing activities, implementation of upgrading or development works and generally all projects that contribute to create added value to the assets.

  • Attending meetings with and coordinating third-party service providers including property managers, letting agents, project managers, architects and legal advisors.

  • Contributing to financial modelling, preparation of the documentation and data collection in sale and acquisition processes.

  • Supporting the team on business development projects and transactions.

What do you have to offer us?

  • Graduate from a Business school or from an university;

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience (internships included);

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel (cash flow modeling, IRR- and NPV calculations), Word and Power Point;

  • Advanced communication skills in Dutch, French and English both written and spoken;

  • High personal drive, a willingness to deliver high quality with commitment and dedication and to grow quickly;

  • Great interpersonal skills, willingness and drive to form part of a team dynamic.
