Citigroup Third Party Risk Analyst - BAO Support Team in Budapest, Hungary

Team/Role Overview

Through managing the day-to-day support of the business activity owners (BAO), Citi’s TPU – BAO Support Team plays a pivotal role in supporting Citi’s mission. We are seeking a Junior Third Party Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team. Your job will be focused on active contribution to Citi’s risk assessments and application of Citi’s operational risk policies across the firm.

What you’ll do

Participate in the application of operational risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.

Contribute to risk assessments and drives actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.

Provide governance and oversight may include (not limited to) technology operational risk, risk for example.

Ensure that all product, operational, fiduciary, regulatory and payment system risks are actively identified, monitored, and adequately controlled.

Identify system or process weaknesses, propose resolutions that will mitigate the exposure and increase processing efficiency.

Integrate other control functions to ensure all risks are fully scrutinized.

Identify risks that cross the businesses and organizing cross-functional solutions.

Track and resolve on all risk issues - Process Management - Ad Hoc reporting.

What we’ll need from you

0-2 years of experience – fresh graduates are welcome.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – any additional language is an advantage.

Analytical mindset to be able to link the dots.

Ability to function independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Good command of MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
