Will not be negotiating or quoting, expediting and follow up only. Finite number of suppliers - some parts are challenging and not a lot of opportunities to switch suppliers. Important for someone who can pick up the phone and have the difficult conversations, push, challenge, and raise their hand. Not looking for someone with a lot of experience 2-5 years Someone with hands on type of background Hobbies are a big thing he asks about – background in playing music, working on cars, someone who loves to be outdoors – typically a fit for Honda Aero Problem solving mindset Key Accountabilities • Supplier communication and follow up to support on time delivery for manufacturing, engine assembly, maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) and facility needs. Ability to problem solve and make decisions to support hardware disposition and expediting to achieve on time delivery. • Supplier request for quotation (RFQ) and negotiation. Award business based on the best possible quality, cost and delivery terms. • Work with Engineering (HGPU) and Suppliers to accomplish process improvement goals in support of on time delivery. Work with internal and external customers to support process changes and other project related items. • Provide support to team members to ensure process are understood and followed.
