Level Access, the leader in digital accessibility, is seeking a dedicated Product Designer to join our dynamic team. We are dedicated to creating inclusive digital experiences, and as a member of our team, you will play a key role in crafting the user experience of our digital accessibility technology products.

Role Overview:

As a Product Designer, you will work in our Platform area, focusing on information architecture, design systems, and user management. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to build seamless and accessible experiences for our users.

Responsibilities:

  • Design intuitive and accessible user interfaces for our digital accessibility technology products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and create design solutions.

  • Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across our platform.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs.

  • Contribute to short- and long-term design strategy.

  • Provide design reviews for other designers.

  • Analyze existing products and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience designing various digital tools, including web-based applications, native applications, plugins, etc.

  • 3-4 years of experience working with and contributing to design systems.

  • Showed skill in using data to inform the design of digital tools and products.

  • Experience collaborating with Product Managers in agile environments.

  • Excellent at design discovery including problem framing

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience in seeking cross-functional alignment.

  • Experience with unmoderated user testing tools such as Maze, Useberry, Userlytics, etc.

Nice to haves:

  • Expert-level information architecture and understanding of the hierarchy.

  • Advanced knowledge of UX research practices.

  • Expertise in design principles, usability principles, and standard methodologies.

  • Understanding digital accessibility for design.
