ReSource Pro Senior M&A Integration Project Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Your role will...

As Senior M&A Integration Project Manager you will work c losely with the executive team, the M&A team, sellers, workstream M&A project managers, and key stakeholders to diligence and manage integrating prospects and newly acquired companies. This role will be responsible for the project management of integration activities during the deal life cycle from early-stage due diligence through post-close execution. 

This is a remote position that can be based in the central or eastern United States (CST or EST time zones). This role will require up to 20% travel, both national and international. 

After 3 months you will...

  • Work closely with M&A team and other cross-functional global stakeholders to evaluate and advise on potential global acquisition targets, helping to identify associated risks, opportunities, and challenges. Assists advising M&A team on possible risk mitigation approaches and associated impacts to the financial and business model of the target company.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive integration plans outlining business integration -related tasks, timelines, and key milestones based on the due diligence results.

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, onshore and offshore, to align integration plans with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Senior Operations Director to set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

  • Contribute to project postmortems and create a recommendation report to identify successful and unsuccessful M&A elements.

  • Oversee integration workstreams and ensure smooth transition to steady state, and transition of responsibilities to business functions.  

  • Act as liaison between the M&A team and other workstreams.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, both onshore and offshore, including external legal counsel, to ensure project success and alignment with business goals.

     

    What you need to be successful...

  • Bachelors degree in Business or related field

  • 5-7 years' experience in complex, high priority project management

  • 5+ years' experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, both pre- and post- integration

  • Thorough understanding of M&A lifecycle

  • Change management experience with the ability to lead the process through the period of transition.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Energetic, self-motivated, and solution-focused

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Your Compensation…

    Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position and the salary range for most locations for this role is $75,126 - $127,083. The salary range may vary based on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
