Strategy Advisor, Experience Design (Digital - Customer Experience - Developer) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1495606), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Charlotte, NC.

Assist with management of the development deliverables as they align with the user-centered design approach of client’s digital products to ensure a great user experience and a realization of the client’s product visions. Drive the development and delivery of responsive web applications and sites, mobile applications, and prototypes, working directly with the experience design teams and clients. Manage the development team to help understand the design vision and translate that into development deliverables, make technology decisions that align the client’s existing technology direction with the necessary changes to support design and user experience decisions. Work with engagement teams to manage client expectations in line with the overall digital and customer experience vision to deliver quality and timely technology solutions. Mentor Senior Engineers; understand their skill sets, strengths, and opportunities for improvement. Facilitate brainstorming sessions, learning sessions, and contribute to development teams by refining processes, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse technology skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities, contribute to the sales process by scoping and writing Statements of Work for development efforts.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.

Must have 3 years of experience in consulting at a technology-related practice and exposure contributing technical expertise/insight to client proposals.

Must have 4 years of experience in all the following:

  • HTML and CSS, including development of responsive sites

  • CSS preprocessors such as LESS or Sass

  • Javascript

  • Figma, Sketch or Photoshop.

Must have 3 years of cross-functional experience working with both internal and 3rd party development teams, including UX and visual designers, researchers, technologists, and/or developers.

Must have 3 years of experience communicating technology processes, ideas and solutions to teams, clients, and/or business stakeholders.

Must have 2 years of experience in Javascript frameworks such as Angular, React, React Native or Vue; Integration of REST API; and/or relational or NoSQL databases.

Must have 2 years of experience in managing teams of consulting professionals.

Require domestic travel up to 80%, to serve client needs.
