Philips PM Operations Manager in Chennai (ex Madras), India

Job title:

PM Operations Manager

Your role:

  • As a PM Operations Manager at Philips, you will be responsible for managing the Project Management Services of the GBS by managing business relationship with partners aimed at definition of partners’ needs (PM strategy, type of projects, PM profile), contracting and onboarding partners and managing End-to-End (E2E) PM allocation process.

  • As PM Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing PM / PMO team and overseeing the E2E management of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder management, and adherence to quality, cost, and timeline parameters

  • The PM Operations Manager will use the governance, processes, practices, and tools established by the organization to provide best of class PM services. As PM Operations Manager you will be also act as PM.

  • Develop and gain agreements on project business objectives.

  • Manage and allocate PM / PMO resources to maximize business objectives delivery from projects managed by team and self. Develop continually PM capabilities cross Philip.

  • Your role will significantly impact the successful realization of projects, contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare solutions globally.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage project teams, and contribute to the dynamic and innovative culture of Philip

You're the right fit if:

  • You have 10 years+ of relevant working experience, including minimum 7 years of PM experience in successfully setting up and managing business transformation projects/programs and minimum 3 years’ experience as people leader. PMI (or equivalent) certification mandatory.

  • You can effectively prioritize and orchestrate tasks and activities related to own team management, department initiatives, as well as multi-functional project teams you manage as PM, to execute upon a plan in a pressurized environment and work proactively to ensure project milestones are met.

  • You have solid process and data analytical skills and the ability to synthetize information to craft messages to specific audience needs.

  • You possess good influencing and relationship building skills, at all levels of organization, including change management practice proved in projects and teams managed. Able to work efficiently in culturally diverse environment.
