You will have the opportunity to coordinate and implement moderate to high-risk network changes independently, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all functions of a Network Engineer
• Coordinate and implement network changes in mission-critical areas
• Provide input into documentation of configuration and network changes
• Integrate components from multiple vendors into a unified network
• Resolve Tier 2 localized high-impact network problems
• Act as a technical project leader for medium to large-sized projects
• Research and justify various hardware and software purchases
• Ensure that network systems meet specific functional specifications
• Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve complex help desk tickets and network problems

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of experience in infrastructure/network environments
• Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and multiple technical disciplines
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, desktop skills, client/server environments, network protocols, and monitoring/configuration tools
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and provide excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse client population
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic keyboarding skills
