Google Strategy and Operations Manager, Customer Engineering, Google Cloud in Chicago, Illinois

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 6 years of experience in Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Management Consulting, Finance or Program Management.

  • Experience working with senior-level clients or stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or other similar advanced degree.

  • Experience planning and managing at both the strategic and operational level.

  • Experience with leading data-driven analyses using SQL and data visualization tools to deliver insights and recommendations.

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, products and market landscape.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced organization, and to create an idea and organization that can scale.

  • Ability to influence others, with excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.

The Google Cloud Sales Strategy and Operations team acts as trusted advisors to the Sales Organization, partnering with cross-functional teams to plan, strategize, and manage the business. In this role, you will help define, establish, and execute key strategic priorities for the region. You will also be responsible for helping with planning, goal setting, territory design, expansion plans, and managing business activities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Partner with Customer Engineering (CE) leadership to develop strategy and business plan, and work with the team to execute it.

  • Help define and execute on key strategic priorities for the Customer Engineering organization.

  • Work with cross-functional organizations within Google Cloud to drive alignment and collaboration on the execution and achievement of key business goals.

  • Build annual and quarterly planning processes, development of business plans, operating models, resource allocation, market segmentation and area design, and manage goal setting, tracking, and performance measurement.

  • Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing data, leading analyses, and developing final recommendations.
