Citigroup Solution Architect Lead Analyst in Ciudad De Mexico, Mexico

The Architecture Payments Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays up to date on development within this field and contributes to the directional design by considering the application in the business objective and the technology.

A recognized technical authority holds this position within the company. The role significantly influences the enterprise through complex deliveries providing product advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. It requires essential business and technology awareness and developed communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasionally external customers.

Responsabilities:

  • Solves complex business problems into sound solutions balancing risk, efficiency, and cost.

  • Executes the architectural vision for all IT systems through major, complex IT architecture projects; ensures that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints.

  • Develops technology roadmaps while keeping up to date with emerging technologies and recommends business directions based on these technologies.

  • Provides technical leadership and is responsible for developing components of the design of the overall system.

  • Applies hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces.

  • Provides integrated systems planning and recommends innovative technologies to enhance the current system.

  • Recommends appropriate desktop, computer platform, and communication links to support IT goals and strategy.

  • Knowing how to own specialism contributes to the business and a good understanding of competitors' products and services.

  • Acts as an advisor or mentor to junior team members.

  • Uses sophisticated analytical thought to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations.

  • Impacts the architecture function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel, or facilitating services.

  • Guides, influences, and persuades others with developed communication and diplomacy skills.

  • Performs other job duties and functions as assigned

  • Assess risk by considering the firm's reputation and safeguarding the company and its clients.

  • Also, assets risk by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Having experience in some of the following competencies will help you to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor/University degree in computer science or system engineering or equivalent background, potentially a master's degree

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English (Must).

  • Applied knowledge of the entire application development lifecycle: inception, requirements management, analysis, design, building, and operation of systems.

  • At least eight years of relevant experience in technology applied to the financial industry, mainly in banking or capital markets. (Must)

  • Knowledge of "BIAN" Banking Industry Framework

  • Proficiency in Enterprise Architecture practices: e.g., TOGAF ADM, SaFE. (Desirable).

  • Knowledge in at least one of these integration/middleware technologies: TIBCO, MQ, Solace, Kafka, and Ab Initio Continuous Flow. (Must)

  • Cloud-based architecture and development: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Open Shift or containerization technologies Docker and Kubernetes

  • Knowledge of Databases, e.g., Oracle, MongoDB, or Redis.

  • Microservices and API design/development, including underlying technologies: REST, JSON, Swagger.

  • Knowledge of JEE architecture, design and architectural patterns, and Java frameworks. (Must)

10+ years of experience in a technology role with experience in people and project management

Proven ability to design technical solutions, benchmarking activities, identification of best practices and knowledge of Architecture Paterns.

Proven analytical and diagnostic skills with focus on execution and attention to detail
