The Director - AI Tools & Platforms is responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to the team of Data & AI Application Owners and Data & AI Tooling Specialists with a focus on the effective implementation and management of AI tools and platforms across the enterprise. This role is responsible for overseeing the establishment of best practices to enable the seamless integration of AI technologies across various business functions. The Director - AI Tools & Platforms is responsible for building strategies and roadmaps for AI tooling based on the needs and requirements of the Data Science team within ED&I. The Director - AI Tools & Platforms must stay up to date with the latest technologies and emerging trends in AI and constantly work to improve the AI infrastructure and workflows across the enterprise. Drive innovation and advancement of the organization's AI tools and platforms, ensuring they align to business-wide needs. Recommend and implement AI tooling and platform solutions that are efficient, effective, secure, compliant and meet the enterprise requirements. Own the development and maintenance of AI roadmaps, strategies, guidelines, governance, and standards. Drive adoption of new AI tools and platforms through training, POCs, prototyping, vendor evaluations, and demonstration of best practices Identify and manage AI tooling and platform risks, compliance, and security. Act as a thought leader for the business on AI trends, developments and technologies Partner with leader(s) to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) & targets for AI Technology Operations. Develop and execute the strategy for managing the reliability and availability of AI operations. Scale, support and deploy AI technologies developed by ED&I to the business stakeholders. Actively participate in incident management procedures relating to AI Data operations. This will include leading incident management calls with customers and leadership, the timely resolution of incidents, post-incident reviews, and the implementation of improvement plans. Accountable for the ongoing AI support for all service lines ensuring the on- delivery of customer capacity. Lead process transformation, simplification, and optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Maintain and coordinate communication with stakeholders. FORMAL EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 12+ years in Data / Technology roles with increasing levels of responsibility 8+ years of experience in leading technical teams and managing large-scale projects related to AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, or related areas. 7+ years managing activities related to data tools and operations. 5+ years working with AI Tools, Technology and/or Platforms. Strong understanding of AI tooling and platform architecture, standards, best practices, and emerging trends. Experience in developing and implementing AI data strategies and roadmaps. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated leadership ability. Experience with Big Data Tools, Distributed Computing Frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, and SQL), ETL/ELT, Data Warehousing and Reporting, Data Visualization Tools and Libraries (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Plotly), AI Platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, Caffe, and PyTorch), Natural Language Processing Platforms and Libraries (e.g., NLTK, Gensim, and spaCy) Preferred: 7+ years hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and retiring enterprise-scale programs that are flexible, responsive, and deliver value aligned to strat
