To learn more, please visit www.ierustech.com/benefits Description: This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a System Integration Engineer supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree and 3+ years’ experience or bachelors degree with 5+ years relevant experience. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints; establishing functional and technical specifications and standards, solving hardware/software interface problems, defining input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem; reviewing, evaluating, and deriving requirements for testability; developing and directing preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems; coordinating subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations; performing analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem and/or system-level evaluation reports that verify and validate system performance ; writing discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems. Required Qualifications: • BA/BS in Engineering/Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. • Advanced degree and 3+ years\' relevant experience or Bachelor with 5+ years\' relevant experience or equivalent • Active Security+ required (60 days after start may be considered) • Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance. • System Engineering background specializing in System and Software Safety. • Windows, Linux skills in system administration and/or integration. • Experience in troubleshooting of small to large-scale infrastructure (Troubleshooting includes activities that most System Administrators should have the knowledge to identify and resolve most common issues). • Must be a self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. • Ability to cooperatively develop integration plans/procedures from sources such as functional/performance requirements and stated technical capabilities, monitor the integration of the test resources, execute these detailed integration procedures, analyze integration results, and present the results orally and in written format. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work effectively and cooperatively with people within and external to the program. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. • Should have either knowledge of or practical experience with DoD test methodologies and terminology and previous test and integration skills. Desired Qualifications • The ability to get a top-secret clearance or a current one is desired. • Network architecture and device knowledge. • Scripting skills for data mining and formatted display of data. • Experience within the Mission Defense realm and previous test and integration. • Experience with operational systems (e.g., Aegis, Patriot), development systems (e.g., GMD, THAAD, Aegis), and off-the-shelf statistical analysis packages a plus. • Network architecture and device knowledge and scripting skills for data mining and formatted display of data are a plus. Location: Colorado Springs, CO Some travel may be required, but most efforts are from a central location with remote access. The proposed salary range for this position is $77.9k - $128.7k. Salaries are commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications within the experience bandwidth, as well as market and business considerations.
