Roles and Responsibilities
Main Duties
Maintenance Manager - O&M (Operation and Maintenance) Power plant reporting to the Plant Manager, responsible for ensuring:
Facility compliance in all areas of Health, Safety and Environmental programs and procedures as applicable to the Power Station. Implement GE EHS (Environment, Safety and Health) programs within area of responsibility.
Facility compliance with all Maintenance aspects of the O&M between General Electric and the Owner.
Responsibility
Development of Maintenance procedures consistent with protecting the Owners investment, maintaining the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) warranty and achieving maximum Facility availability at optimum heat rate in a safe, reliable, economical and environmentally friendly manner.
Establishing, maintaining and auditing routines, for all maintenance aspects of the facility, within a quality framework accreditable to internationally recognized standards.
Providing expert technical guidance on engineering standards and repair techniques to minimize production losses.
Developing and motivating a team of reliable and qualified personnel.
Effectively controlling the selection, contract placement and ongoing control of all contractors on site.
Recruitment, training and personal development of Maintenance team members.
Manage and implement GE EHS procedures within area of responsibility.
Primary responsibility for establishing a framework of policies and procedures that are accreditable to internationally recognized standards.
Development of a written scheme of inspection in accordance with the Safety of Pressure System Regulations and carry out duties of the pressure regulations engineer.
Lead control in implementing an effective computerized Parts Tracking and Maintenance Management System, and development, monitoring and control of Maintenance Department budget.
Development of auditable training and accreditation schedules for Maintenance Technicians.
Provision of support services to the Operations Department for expert diagnosis and defect repair.
Management, planning, scheduling and coordination of power plant outages.
Reviewing budget and variance analysis of management budget on a monthly basis.
Ensuring an adequate interface with the owner on a commercial basis.
Control and undertaking of ad-hoc commercial projects as necessary.
Ensure Annual supplier and contract reviews ae completed.
Undertake all site management reporting to the Plant Manager.
Stewardship and control of CMMS and other systems necessary for the commercial operation of the site.
Preparation of monthly management accounts using reports and the payables system in use – actuals, commitment, forecast.
Review and control of budgets and variance analysis on a monthly basis to site budget holders.
Control and review of site purchasing and ordering system
Ensure Warehouse management is compliant to GE policies/procedures.

Cost effective management of annual budgets value of which depends on the inspections requirements of the Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Boiler Systems
Required Qualifications
Significant experience in the Services & O&M Power Station Management.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or relevant experience
Awareness ofISO 9001:2015
Prior experience with F class Combine Cycle Gas Turbine desired
Able to communicate with customer & stake holder

Established project management skills.
