Robert Half is staffing for a leading healthcare company and is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Revenue Cycle Analyst to join their dynamic team. The Revenue Cycle Analyst role is an on-site role in Costa, Mesa, CA. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret financial and operational data related to the revenue cycle.

  • Generate and present comprehensive reports to key stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for process improvement.

  • Identify and implement strategies to optimize revenue generation and reduce revenue leakage.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure accurate billing and collections.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure coding and billing practices comply with industry regulations and guidelines.

  • Work closely with coding and billing teams to address any compliance issues and implement corrective measures.

  • Investigate and analyze claim denials, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to minimize denials.

  • Collaborate with billing teams to develop and implement effective denial prevention strategies.

  • Evaluate current revenue cycle processes and identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy in revenue cycle operations.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and updates to ensure continuous improvement.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or healthcare administration.

  • 2-3 years experience as an analyst in a healthcare environment with an emphasis on managed care reporting and reimbursement.

  • General understanding of DRG and CPT/HCPC Medical Coding and Medical Terminology.

  • Strong understanding of Managed Care and Government reimbursement methodologies.

  • General knowledge of hospital operations (Revenue Cycle: Registration, Patient Accounting/Billing, data processing).

  • Understanding of Accounting Principles and Hospital Financial Reporting
