Amentum Program Analyst in Crane, Indiana

Amentum is hiring a Program Analys t to provide technical and management support for Strategic Microelectronics. The Program Analyst will provide support with tracking metrics for the program, tracking outstanding actions from program reviews, support program Technical Director and other leadership with providing updates to the Program Office on all program related actions.

Selected candidate will support the interface between local customers and the Program Office to ensure all program milestones, program schedules, and other program requirements are met; support document developments including white papers, schedules, and presentations; and support the development and updates to program milestones and presentation material.

Other Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • Support of research and development efforts for program.

  • Support the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.

  • Handle extensive scheduling for a demanding and growing DoD program for meetings and special events. The scheduling responsibilities will include rescheduling and canceling appointments, as needed; determining meeting needs and preparing them; and ensuring sufficient time is allocated to each appointment.

  • Analyze current program needs and suggest recommendations for improvements.

  • Provide program management support for program milestones, schedules, and new requirements.

  • Conduct reviews of current policies and procedures and support updates, as necessary.

  • Support program related document developments including white papers, schedules, and presentations.

  • Track metrics for multiple projects and the overall program.

  • Coordinate all action items from program reviews and monitor progress.

  • Support program Technical Director, leadership, and various working groups with program needs and initiatives.

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Program Status Meetings, and other meetings for the program.

  • Support development and updates to program milestones and presentation material.

  • Interface with customers to determine specific needs and requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical field and at least 5 years of job related experience or equivalent.

  • Excellent customer service skills and experience.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate on team projects.

  • Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance (Please note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a US clearance)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting high volume Department of Defense (DoD) programs

  • Active Secret Clearance
