Penn Engineering Principal Supply Chain System Analyst in DANBORO, Pennsylvania

Penn Engineering & Manufacturing Corp. seeks a Principal Supply Chain System Analyst to identify opportunities to improve the business unit's ("BU") outcomes and propose changes within the manufacturing processes to senior leadership.  Engage business users spanning multiple business units (BU) and ensure cohesive articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective technology solutions. Expand and improve existing software systems to solve complex problems that may impede the BU's workflow; take a broad perspective to identify innovation solutions and develop new concepts, methods, and techniques for all PEM divisions. Participate in strategy planning activities, and report on the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, and testing for all proposed manufacturing system enhancements and changes for approval by management. Work closely with the BU's functional representatives to identify opportunities for process improvements to best utilize existing systems; increase productivity; and supports business goals. Assess proposed system improvements to confirm feasibility of requested functionality enhancements and ensure global perspective for all approved requests. Develop peer, cross-functional & cross-BU relationships to maximize best practice sharing & team effectiveness. Implement and maintain computer programs and computer systems used by the BUs to ensure normal functioning and improved work flow. Responsible for the timely completion of project tasks   and activities within functional area by collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining individual project responsibilities, including using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information and compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data. Responsible for the development of the functional training and coordinating the on-going functional support, including, the development of BU "super users."  Own issue / risk identification, escalation, resolution and communication with the project team and functional management including BU functional leaders. Assure conformance to system architecture, methods, standards & practices & promote their creation. Analyze the BU's competitive position in the use of technology in relation to industry best practices. Prepare, present & review overall plans, status reviews and reports as required by project and with senior leadership within the relevant BU. Responsible for leading the standup meetings with the cross functional development Team. Remote work option of up to 25%.  Must live within regular commuting distance from Danboro, PA.  Position requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems Management or a related field plus 5 years of experience in JDEdwards OMW and JDEdwards Security Administration; 5 years experience preparing and interpreting financial statements; overall experience must include 2 years of experience in API development and Agile development.    Remote work option of up to 25%.  Must live within regular commuting distance from Danboro, PA. Up to 10% domestic and international travel.
