Randstad has an opening for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a large food manufacturing facility located in Danvers, MA! 1st Shift Mon-Fri 7am-5pm or 6am-4:30pm $31-$41hr based on experience. 50 hour work week with OT after 40 hours. Maintenance Mechanic job duties:

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor system, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions.

• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.

• Fabricates repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
