Description

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Sr. Accountant to support our client, a leading company in the fitness and yoga industry, on a 3–4-month remote project who can assist with period-end closing and provide day to day support to the finance and accounting team. This position reports directly to the CFO and offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with period-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting by such as, bank and account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and journal entries

  • Collaborate with the accounting team on various tasks including inventory accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

  • Provide support to the CFO in supervising the accounting team and overseeing day-to-day operations.

  • Work closely with management to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.

  • Maintain compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

  • Support the CFO in transitioning into controller duties and supervising the accounting team effectively.

    Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail or manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP system

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong Excel Skills - VLOOKUP, pivot tables, large data

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
