Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Preparation: Prepare individual and business tax returns under the supervision of senior staff.

• Client Interviews: Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information for tax return preparation.

• Documentation: Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation of expenditures.

• Tax Filing: Assist in the electronic filing of tax returns and ensure timely submission.

• Compliance: Ensure all tax returns comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns regarding their tax returns.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all tax-related documents.

• Continual Learning: Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to provide the best service to clients.

  Requirements

• Certification: CTEC Certification required.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting or finance preferred.

• Skills: Basic knowledge of tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in work.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

• Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
