DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities:  * Collaborate with internal teams to design and develop efficient web applications  * Participate in requirements analysis and estimation to advise team of best options to deliver solutions effectively  * Ability to read, understand, and improve existing code  * Write clean, scalable code using JavaScript and .NET programming languages in adherence with iPipeline development standards and security policies  * UI design, development, and unit testing using iPipeline proprietary tools  * Create/maintain XML configuration files  * Source control management using GITHUB for project setup and deployments.  * Understand the intent and priorities behind the changes to business requirements.  * Identify coding changes and corresponding constraint engine changes.  * Create and maintain technical design documents.  * Provide guidance to customers on critical technical decisions  * Conduct peer code reviews and evaluate risks  * Review application performance and optimize  * Train and mentor new hires and peers  * Support of evening and/or weekend deployments may be required.

Skills Requirements:  * Excellent coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills  * Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks within tight timelines and budget constraints  * Ability to collaborate with co-workers and customers in a fast-paced environment  * Strong communication skills for internal and customer communication.  * Strong troubleshooting skills and resourcefulness to triage issues using different tools and drive things to resolution.  * Analytical skills to comprehend requirements and make recommendations for design improvements.  * Familiarity/experience with AGILE methodology  * 4+ years of relevant experience

Technical Knowledge Requirements:  * Strong understanding of web application development using .NET technologies including IIS  * Experience with .NET based web service design and development  * Experience with Javascript client-side development  * Advanced understanding of database design and querying using SQL Server  * Advanced XSL design, development and debugging  * Ability to challenge business rules for optimal solutions  * Basic understanding of Insurance Industry and Products a plus

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
