Position Description:

CGI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Specialist IV to join our team. As the subject matter expert for all cybersecurity and information technology aspects of the assigned program, you will be responsible for performing top-level system architecture design, development, integration, testing, installation, and troubleshooting. You will translate military operational and mission requirements into practical systems concepts and design performance requirements. Additionally, you will participate in program reviews, design reviews, and IPTs as the cybersecurity specialist/engineering on assigned programs.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all cybersecurity and information technology aspects of the assigned program.

  • Perform top-level system architecture-related design, development, integration, testing, installation, and troubleshooting.

  • Translate military operational and mission requirements (ground, sea, air, and space) into practical systems concepts and design performance requirements.

  • Participate in post-awards, program reviews, design reviews, and IPTs as the cybersecurity specialist/engineering on assigned programs.

  • Evaluate and conduct design efforts from a cybersecurity viewpoint to ensure integration of all required cybersecurity products and adequacy of the analyses.

  • Prepare and review cybersecurity-related test plans, procedures, and reports on technical adequacy on assigned programs for both government and contractor tests, as well as related failure reports.

  • Review and evaluate system performance against cybersecurity-related specification requirements, monitor and assess field performance, and assess the risk of meeting user and specification requirements.

  • Prepare and evaluate cybersecurity security strategies for requested programs.

  • Have extensive experience in operational Cyber Security accreditation and certification of embedded systems accredited at Secret level and below.

  • Possess an extensive understanding of AR 25-2 and the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), including recent experience (less than 2 years old) in obtaining system accreditation using the DoD RMF and the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) software.

  • Have extensive experience preparing recommended IA approval and supporting information documentation and understanding of systems engineering processes.

  • Possess an extensive understanding of the DoD standards guiding the development of cybersecurity policy, requirements, integration, engineering, and certification and accreditation.

  • Perform security analyses and risk/vulnerability assessments

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • MS in Cybersecurity or equivalent (as determined by the Government).

  • Over 20 years of relevant experience.

  • Have the breadth of experience and knowledge, and recognition in the Cybersecurity community, to lead efforts on assigned programs and work independently with minimal oversight from the Government Lead.

  • Serve as a consultant to other team members and mentor the workforce on Cybersecurity matters.

  • Evaluate Cybersecurity products, procedures, and system architecture used on past programs and establish new and innovative cybersecurity strategies.

  • Identify issues and brief the PM on possible courses of action and their impact.

  • CISSP certification.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $96,500.00 - $235,200.00.
