AutoNation Headquarters Position Summary: As a thought leader on the Operations Team, you will need to be highly organized, a self-starter, and able to work independently and operate effectively within a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, Market Operations, Marketing, and IT to ensure used vehicle acquisition experience initiatives are implemented as flawlessly as possible. You will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and work alongside the Market Presidents to drive the successful launch and implementation of our initiatives, as well as other business projects as priorities shift and arise. Job Responsibilities: Lead several strategic projects and initiatives related to transforming the AutoNation business model, innovating the vehicle acquisition experience. Work with project/business leads to develop and document implementation strategy and plans. Oversee the successful planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing of all vehicle acquisition lead performance implementation tasks and activities Ensure that priorities are continually aligned with business objectives and resolve conflicting priorities, issues, and risks with appropriate escalation to appropriate stakeholders and leadership. Provide updates on the adoption of new processes and technology as part of the project’s continuous improvement cycle. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, teammates and suppliers Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Proven experience building cross-functional relationships by establishing trust and credibility, securing buy-in, and creating consensus. Ability to influence decision-makers, motivate other teams to get work done, and evaluate pilots to demonstrate results prior to rollout. Knowledge of third party lead space Ability to provide direction for effective project management. Exceptional organizational, business communication and presentation skills Flexible and open to change with regards to strategy and roadmap; ability to pivot as new information or priorities arise Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Proven people management experience and effective leadership techniques Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office 360 applications relevant to effectively communicating, presenting complex concepts, organizing information, and managing project workstreams Join AutoNation and be a driving force in shaping the future of automotive retail.
