What you’ll do:

As a Senior Staff Member within the Security Automation team, you’ll serve as versatile senior developer delivering automated solutions that advance Schwab’s security posture and incident response capabilities. You’ll exercise your expertise with security operations practices, systems monitoring, and technology orchestration practices to bring a holistic technology perspective to unique security challenges.

Leveraging your technical leadership experience in software engineering, you’ll provide thought leadership in the delivery of solutions to mechanize our Security Operations staff, furthering their capabilities to detect and counter complex, emerging, and unique threats.

What you have:

We are looking for adaptable, talented software engineers who relish the opportunity to see their code make a difference.

  • Demonstrated thought leadership with Python or C# on .Net core, RESTFul Methodology, Git, and Continuous Integration/Deployment tooling.

  • Expertise with Git, unit testing, continuous integration/deployment, and agile methodologies is paramount.

  • Experience working on DevOps, Security Operations, or Enterprise Operations teams with a focus on automation and incident response.

  • Experience with SIEM and/or Log Management systems.

  • Must be capable of clearly articulating complex technical issues to all levels of the organization.

  • Experience creating software architecture documents, demonstrated effectiveness influencing the cross-organizational teams to align with your direction.

  • Ability to keep current technology trends and innovations and bring new techniques to your team and projects

  • Highly motivated self-starter and team player.

  • Must be passionate about technology and committed to continual improvement.

  • Great problem solver with ability to quickly identify bottlenecks, potential problems in multi-process, multi-threaded code.
