Our Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will have experience with QA best practices and proven experience performing all QA related functions – including, but not limited to – vetting requirements, creating test plans, test data and test cases, executing test cases, creating automation scripts, and reviewing regression results, in order to quickly determine if our products are ready for market. QA team members work very closely with developers on an integrated team dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a highly interactive, agile team.

What you’ll do:

  • Participate in all aspects of testing – unit, integration, functional, regression, load/performance, automation and system testing

  • Build and enhance automation frameworks, scripts and tools, proposing enhancements to automation frameworks to help shorten product cycle times

  • Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases and execute the tests with a focus on software code coverage, automation and performance

  • You will be active during the development cycle and work shoulder to shoulder with software developers to understand the underlying code

  • Work collaboratively in an Agile Delivery Team understanding the business value of user stories and translating business requirements and acceptance criteria into test scenarios and test cases

  • Work collaboratively with development to identify testability of the architectural design and application code while infusing Quality into the team’s deliverables

  • Adhere to the standards and best practices within the Agile Scrum methodology

  • Responsible from a release management perspective that the definition of done has been achieved

  • Ensure portfolio standards for availability, security, capacity and performance has been achieved

What you have:

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field

  • 3 to 5 years in Software Quality Engineering

  • 3+ years hands on experience in development, execution and maintenance of automated test scripts

  • Technical competency in an Object-Oriented Programming languages such as Java, C# or C++ Experience supporting Quality Assurance efforts through developing of automated scripts for web services, APIs and UIs

  • Working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps principles

  • Strong programming, debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism and strong work ethic with a high level of energy

  • Experience working with resources in a different geographical locations and offshore vendors

Desired:

  • Driven by innovation and a commitment to lifelong learning

  • Experience or familiarity with Atlassian suite of products (Jira, Confluence, HipChat, Bamboo, Bitbucket)

  • Familiarity with BDD and TDD

  • Passion for building high quality solutions through automation

  • Basic understanding of Web Services virtualization

  • Experience with our testing tools (In order of preference): Zephyr, Cucumber, Protractor, JMeter, Parasoft SOA Test, CTP, HP Performance Center, SourceTree
