    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    To safely provide top quality, Startups, and Warranty repairs on a wide variety of commercial heating and air conditioning systems, while exceeding the industry standards and expectations.

  • Self-Perform Startups and Warranty repairs for all types of HVAC Systems

  • 3 to 100 TON RTU’s, VAV’s, VFD’s, Gas, and electric unit heaters, Liebert’s / CRAC, mini-splits, split systems, VRF Systems for both commercial and industrial.

  • Knowledge of the different Manufacturers Systems for Startup, Warranty Repair of VRV, VRF Heat Pump, and Heat Recovery Systems.

  • Positively respond to the heavy workload of Warranty calls in a professional manner.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repairs various makes and models of HVACR equipment.

  • Knowledge of electrical and control systems

  • Keep supervisor informed of new developments, changes, or customer complaints.

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and true paperwork and other procedures to company standards to maintain personal and company integrity & reputation.

  • Willing to continue education to keep up with technical knowledge as it may change over time including methods and concepts pertaining to equipment changes.

  • Excited to participate in a company that provides training opportunities when those opportunities present themselves.

  • Always wear proper PPE and comply with all safety standards and processes.

  • Participate in on call rotation, volunteer to take on new challenges and work assignments.

  • Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service the emergency needs of our customers.

  • Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.

  • Maintain accurate and complete invoices, paperwork, and other procedures to company standards.

  • Keep technical knowledge current regarding equipment and concepts. Participating in company provided training opportunities.

  • Maintain the highest safety standards and wear all PPE while working on the job.

    Skills

  • 8 or more years’ experience in Brazing refrigeration line-sets.

  • Ability to work independently in an efficient and productive manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time by using proper techniques and testing.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and manuals proficiently for proper routing and copper line-set sizing and equipment information.

  • Proficient in English, Spanish is beneficial.

  • Ability to Learn or use Software including:

  • Revu Bluebeam

  • Field Ease time entry

  • Site Docs (Submitting Pre-Task and Daily report

  • Prior experience & proficiency in using common software:

  • Microsoft Office, i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.

  • Knowledge experience, and competent in the use of:

  • Telehandlers

  • Aerial platforms

  • Boom lifts

  • Ladders

    Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure our goals of quality workmanship that exceeds the industry standards.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Valid social security number

  • Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required by company.

  • Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.

  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules.

  • Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll as required.

  • Professional speech when communicating to customers & teammates.

  • Daily clean, neat, professional appearance.
